See how Cramer did on his 2008 green picks
I'll admit - so far, I haven't made any money off green stocks and have been generally been caught flat footed, not understanding that green has arrived, at least on a subsidized basis. My latest blooper was not picking up some OPTT around 4$ when i first heard about it. Before that, i lost a bit on ESLR, bailed, then watched as it went multi-bagger!
What now? At this point, i'm still shell shocked at the 2008 crash and have lost a lot of faith in the market. More to the point, i'm more or less convinced that part of the problem is due to short selling and its first cousin, naked short selling. Shorting seemed reasonable for years but then i began to perceive that the process creates virtual duplicates (counterfeits through naked shorting), which in turns undermines trust, legitimate businesses, jobs and the market. So I'm still standing out, more or less, not sure what shorters are up to now - well, it does seem they're all over the Comex, according to the blogosphere. Hmmm. Waiting for your ideas.
